Advance purchase is highly recommended as there is limited capacity on our trips. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Charter Boat Seats can be purchased online or over the phone with a Visa, MasterCard, Zelle, Cash.
Our trips will run in light rain or other moderate weather conditions. However, if there is severe or unsafe weather conditions and we have to cancel, you will be allowed to reschedule your tickets or receive credit for a future event.
No. Our number 1 priority is safety. In the case of cancellation due to severe weather, we will give you a credit or you can reschedule your fishing trip.
We love children and they are more than welcome to be a part of the fishing trip! Please keep in mind, all charter boat attendees must have a full-priced ticket, plus fishing Oregon fishing license rules regardless of age.

No experience necessary! The captain & crew are very helpful and work hard to make sure you catch your limit and have a great time.
We have a variety of different fishing trips available including, ling cod, rock fishing (bottom fishing), crabbing, tuna, and halibut. Check our calendar for details on each trip.
Types of fish caught include: Rock Fish (all types), Lingcod, Green Ling, Vermilion, and Cabazon. The fishing is good right now and nice size Lingcod are being caught. Halibut opens 5/1/2025 – Tuna when in season
Limits are 4 rock fish and 2 ling cod. ( 5 rock fish starting july 1st 2025) Oregon Rules for daily fishing limit for type
Bait is placed in a crab pot about 30” wide, and attached to a rope and buoy marker, then lowered to the bottom of the ocean in about 30’- 45’ of water near shore.
Oregon limit is 12 Dungeness crab and 24 red rock crab per person, and an Oregon shell fish license is required. It can be purchased at the same time you purchase a fishing license.
Guests will fish for 4-5 hours on average depends on fishing trip – halibut is full day

No, as there will be no food served on board, we recommend you bring the food you like with you. Feel free to bring a small ice chest with you!
Yes, you can bring a small ice chest for your food.
There will be water and available on board, and please bring any additional beverages you’d like with you. Note that alcohol is fine to bring, but we ask that it be used in moderation.

Yes, you can keep the fish you catch and put them in your own basket. If it is a legal fish and size Ling Cod is 22 inches minimum
Yes, in the spring you will see whales migrating. There are sea birds, porpoises a type of dolphin, sea lions, jellyfish, Whales and bait balls, sharks. Because we’re in a commercial port, you will see big ships, tug boats and other vessels leaving and returning to port.
Because we are an exclusive private charter, we limit the number of guests to 6 plus 1 crew members. Our 28’ Kingfisher/Costal Express is brand new in 2025 and provides 10’ of open deck space behind the cabin which provides plenty of room for a great fishing experience.
No, but we do have a comfortable cabin area and will provide water, and recommend you bring any additional water, soft drinks and food that you’d like with you.

Yes, the captain and crew are patient and helpful. Your safety and enjoyment are very important to us.
It is best to stay out on deck and keep the fresh air around you. If you are particularly prone to seasickness, we advise taking preventative measures beforehand. We will bring you back to the dock if requested, but there are no refunds.
Please dress warmly, with comfortable shoes. A warm hat and gloves are also nice to bring along just in case.
No, pets are not allowed on our fishing trips.
Yes, smoking is allowed on deck, but not in the cabin area. ALL drugs are forbidden.

Yes, you are certainly allowed to bring a still or video camera to capture your day on the ocean! We are not responsible if you drop them into the ocean.
