Our trips will run in light rain or other moderate weather conditions. However, if there is severe or unsafe weather conditions and we have to cancel, you will be allowed to reschedule your tickets or receive credit for a future event.

We have a variety of different fishing trips available including, ling cod, rock fishing (bottom fishing), crabbing, tuna, and halibut. Check our calendar for details on each trip.
Types of fish caught include: Rock Fish (all types), Lingcod, Green Ling, Vermilion, and Cabazon. The fishing is good right now and nice size Lingcod are being caught. Halibut opens 5/1/2025 – Tuna when in season

Bait is placed in a crab pot about 30” wide, and attached to a rope and buoy marker, then lowered to the bottom of the ocean in about 30’- 45’ of water near shore.
Oregon limit is 12 Dungeness crab and 24 red rock crab per person, and an Oregon shell fish license is required. It can be purchased at the same time you purchase a fishing license.

Yes, in the spring you will see whales migrating. There are sea birds, porpoises a type of dolphin, sea lions, jellyfish, Whales and bait balls, sharks. Because we’re in a commercial port, you will see big ships, tug boats and other vessels leaving and returning to port.
Because we are an exclusive private charter, we limit the number of guests to 6 plus 1 crew members. Our 28’ Kingfisher/Costal Express is brand new in 2025 and provides 10’ of open deck space behind the cabin which provides plenty of room for a great fishing experience.
