Albacore Tuna and exotics
Albacore Tuna and exotics. This is a Full Day trip. Get ready for one of the most rewarding deep sea fishing experiences of a lifetime on the Oregon coast. Every summer the highly migratory Albacore show up off Charleston from 15-50 miles. Tuna are one of the hardest fighting game fish known. Many days we catch over 20 for the charter boat so be prepared to take home a lot of meat in this fishery. Experience the blue water and creatures that live offshore in its warm waters. We go to where the fish are and sometimes that means we are up to 50 miles offshore but, with a top speed of 38 knots, that’s no problem in our boats. Cost of processing fish is determined by who is processing the fish to be filleted or we can drop it off at the cannery to be custom canned in just a few days. Albacore is a great fish for barbeque or canning. We troll mostly for the tuna, but jigging and live bait may be an option depending on the season and boat. Ask for more details while you book. Dates from July to August fill up quick so make a reservation soon.

If the tuna is not available due to weather, distance to them, or migration timing you agree to still fish with us that day. We take bookings months in advance and cannot predict the tuna however we need to work that day and you want to fish! Your trip will be switched to a trip for another species availed at the time such as salmon, halibut, or rockfish and the price adjust accordingly. If your trip needs to be adjusted further, we will reach out to discuss your options prior to the booked trip date. This is why we call it a FLEX trip

Ocean Crabbing Trip
$100 per person
This bucket-list adventure will take you into the open ocean, close to the shoreline, where you’ll catch large, amazing Dungeness crabs while enjoying breathtaking scenery. GREAT CRABBING
Crabbing in Charleston, Oregon, is some of the best on the Oregon Coast. The Dungeness crabs are large, and the catch is plentiful. The legal size for Dungeness crabs is 5 ¾ inches, measured from the front of the spike on the widest part of the shell, and you can keep up to 12 males per person. The Red Rock crab limit is 12 per person, and you can keep either sex and any size. This is an exciting and fun trip that promises large and plentiful Dungeness crabs. You will not be disappointed! (An Oregon Shellfish license is required for this trip.)
COOKING CRAB
Once you’ve caught your Dungeness crabs, Adventure Charter Fishing can clean and cook them for you for an additional fee. Alternatively, there are several nearby locations where they will cook them for you. If you prefer, you can cook them yourself using the classic method: Bring fresh bay water to a boil, add the crabs, and return the water to a boil. Once boiling, cook whole crabs for 15-20 minutes or cleaned crabs for 12-15 minutes.

Our Deep Water Lingcod & Rockfish Trip is no ordinary fishing excursion. It’s packed with action, lots of fun, and plenty of limits. Catching 20-pound lingcod is common on our boat, and 30+ pounders are caught several times each year!

Offshore Rockfish Trip (Long-Leader)
$225 per person (add crabbing $75)
This is no ordinary rockfish charter—it’s your chance to reel in the largest rockfish on the Oregon Coast! Our offshore rockfish trip is the latest fishing experience approved by the ODFW, offering some of the biggest rockfish found along the coast. You won’t be disappointed!
During this trip, you’ll fish with three hooks 30 feet off the ocean floor beyond the 40-fathom line, targeting larger rockfish species than what you’ll find near shore. You’ll have the opportunity to keep up to 10 rockfish. Species include Yellowtail, Widow, Canary, Bocaccio, Chilipepper, Redstripe, Greenstriped, and Silvergray rockfish. Did we mention it’s a whole lot of fun?
Once you’ve reached your fish bag limit or the trip time ends, we’ll return to the Adventure Charter Fishing office, where your catch will be filleted and bagged at no extra cost. This 4 hours charter includes all bait, tackle, bottled water, and coffee. Please note, a fishing license is required and should be obtained before your scheduled departure.
